A free slideshow about Nuneaton Market Place will take place on Friday 10 July at 12:30pm at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery. The event is organised by Nuneaton Local History Group and Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery.
The presentation, presented by Peter Lee, forms part of the borough's celebrations marking Nuneaton Market's 800th anniversary. It features photographs taken in the 19th century and focuses on eleven public houses that were located in and around the Market Place during that period.
Exhibition and booking details
Visitors will have the chance to view the museum's exhibition about the market both before and after the slideshow. The exhibition has been popular but closes on Saturday 11 July.
