The match comes after Nuneaton's FA Cup success at Rugby Borough, where a 1-0 win set up a next-round clash at Bromsgroke Sporting. In the league, Nuneaton are seeking a second win in four games after playing four away matches in five outings.
Coleshill's Start to the Season
Coleshill Town sit 20th in the table with just one point from three league games — a goalless draw. The visitors have yet to score this season but have conceded only three goals in four matches. They were knocked out of the FA Cup by last season's Midland League Division 1 champions Knowle.
Previous Meetings
This is the first-ever league meeting between the sides. Nuneaton and Coleshill last faced each other in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round on 2 August 2025, when Coleshill won 2-1 with a goal from Jardine. A previous FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round meeting in October 2010 saw Nuneaton win 6-0 at home.
