Nuneaton’s Coniston Tavern is set to reopen on Wednesday 25 November following a £255,000 refurbishment, according to pub operator Marston’s.
The pub on Pallett Drive closed on Monday 2 November for the work and will relaunch under the company’s Grandstand sports-pub concept.
Plans include additional screens, a new sound system and flexible tiered seating. The beer garden is also due to receive new television screens.
Local sporting memorabilia wanted
The operator is inviting residents to share photographs and memorabilia celebrating local sports people and teams for the pub’s displays.
Dartboards and pool tables are due to return, alongside competition leagues and recreational sessions. The venue also plans a new food menu.
Marston’s operations manager Ali Elsworthy said: “We’re so excited to show off the new and improved pub!”
Reopening information
The announced reopening date is 25 November 2026. Further details and table-booking information are available on the Coniston Tavern website.
