Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition of textile artwork by the Midlands Textile Forum, running until Saturday, 7 November.

The exhibition features print, stitch, weave and other textile-based work using various materials and techniques. The pieces emphasise creativity, experimentation and individual interpretation of the exhibition theme.

About the Midlands Textile Forum

The Midlands Textile Forum was founded in 2007 by Annette Lucas to bring textile-based artists together and raise the profile of textile work. The group has grown significantly since its creation and has previously exhibited at NSA Gallery in Nottingham, Nature in Art in Gloucestershire, and the Town Hall in Ledbury.

What to expect

The exhibition features work of a high standard, ranging in size and visual style. Many of the pieces are available for sale.

The exhibition is aimed at textile enthusiasts, art students and school pupils. Admission to Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery is free, though donations are welcomed. Several other temporary exhibitions are also on display throughout the building.
