Big Bicycle Bash is returning to Bedworth on Sunday, 16 August 2026 for a free family day celebrating cycling. The event will run from 11am until 2pm at Miners' Welfare Park, Bedworth, CV12 8JT.
Families attending can expect games, prizes, and giveaways for those who cycle or walk to the event. All types of bikes are welcome.
What's on at the event
Nuneaton BMX club will provide spectacular displays, and speed games will feature throughout the day. The Active Travel Team for Dr Bike will offer safety inspections, advice, minor repairs, and bike marking.
A large selection of second-hand bicycles for all ages will be on sale. Food and drink will be available, with smoothies, ice creams, and offerings from Chubb's Grub.
Council leisure investment
The event comes as Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council continues investment in local leisure facilities. Nuneaton's Pingles Leisure Centre and Jubilee Sports Centre have undergone refurbishment. Bedworth Physical Activity Hub (BPAH) opened in March 2026.
Phase two of BPAH will bring an outdoor 3G sports pitch, a learn-to-ride area, and a skatepark to Bedworth in March 2027.

Biking is a great form of exercise, and with the new skate and bicycle hub coming to Bedworth soon, residents can have fun and stay active at the same time. Free events like this one bring together our communities to provide residents fun on a budget during tough times."
