Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council's Planning Applications Committee has resolved to defend an ongoing planning appeal concerning 212 Higham Lane in Nuneaton.
At its meeting on 1 September, the Committee considered the matter and decided the Council will continue to participate in the appeal process. The Council will submit its statement of case to the Planning Inspectorate by Wednesday, 9 September, in accordance with the appeal timescales set by the Inspector.
Council's Position
Councillor Shane Coates-Jarman, Portfolio Holder for Planning, said: "The Planning Committee met earlier this week and it was decided that the Council will defend the appeal against the proposed HMO development on Higham Lane, Nuneaton. We remain behind our position and will put forward a robust case as the appeal progresses."
